Panama City Beach ("PCB"), located in Bay County, is the dominant vacation destination on the Panhandle Coast, with more rooms and visitors than any of the other destinations. This is either good, bad or indifferent, depending on your preferences. Panama City Beach is very popular among young adults, especially for spring break. Just like in the rest of the Panhandle, May through September are the really busy times of year. Recreational opportunities are not limited to beach life and watersports, you can also play golf, e.g. at the beautiful Signal Hill Golf course.

Just make sure that, if you like beaches, you mustn't miss St. Andrews State Recreation Area located just east of the commercial area in Panama City Beach. It was chosen as the "World's Best Beach" by Travel Magzine.
